I recently was listening to American news channel and I loved the opinion of this man on the evils of porn. He was saying how in the olden days men used to be turned on by the sight of a woman’s ankle…and yet today of course that does nothing. Why? Because we have been desensitized to the evils of porn. Nowadays he was saying how violence is associated with sexuality and how this is causing an ever increasing dangerous situation for women and children in porn industry. While not very popular here in the US, sadly it’s more prevalent in the underground world in other countries.
As a modern culture it seems we are addicted to violence in the media and the news. We need to stop associating violence and sex. In movies or on TV we don’t have to look very far to see it. Women are being tied up and hurt by sadistics on TV. What sort of example is this setting? If back in the day a man could be sexually aroused by the sight of a woman’s ankle…and today it’s a woman being tied up and slapped or tortured…? Where does it stop? What’s next?
We must return to some sort of morality…no I’m not advocating religion at all…just human decency and we must vote with our dollars…we must not attend and pay for such movies and contact advertisers of these shows that glorify violence against women (and this Ethiopia Ethiopian woman too).
