Ethiopian lady ranting again

I look around me and I want to clean up. I see garbage on the streets and I wonder why people think it’s okay to pollute and vandalize. Why can’t we all appreciate having a beatiful neighbourhood no matter our economic background. Just because we’re not rich why must we be dirty. Why can’t we realize that we can all have a beautiful place to live. Nature is beautiful. I’m sick of poverty being an excuse for filth. My parents were not rich yet they strived to make the neighbourhood beautiful. My mother was handicapped and even she tried as best she could.

I wish we all took pride in where we lived. We would all be just a little happier if we each tried to do our part. Why should poverty mean filthy. I grew up in one of the poorest countries in the world, if anyone has an excuse it’s me. This extreme poverty motivated me to change my circumstances, not make excuses to wallow in it.

Any one who whines and bemoans their personal situation or thinks their hard done by and the government owes them something….wake up!!!!! Your sense of entitlement is annoying!!! People we have a black President. No more excuses to wallow in misery. Get off your butt, clean yourself up and take charge. Quit making excuses for why you think you can’t do something and get out there and take a small step.
